CHATEAU DOISY VEDRINES
Château Doisy-Védrines was established in the nineteenth century as a joint venture. With thirty hectares of vineyard, it is the largest Château with 'Doisy' in its name. Some of the buildings at Château Doisy-Védrines date back to the sixteenth century. The Château is named after the Knights of Védrines who were the historic owners of the site.
Planted in the vineyard are 82% Sémillon, 15% Sauvignon and 3% Muscadelle. The vines are planted at a density of 6500 vines/ha. Château Doisy-Védrines is classified Second Cru Classé according to the 1855 Bordeaux wine classification.
